One way my mom told me always helps to feel better when life is running you ragged is to wash your face and get a haircut. I don’t know if it’s the new style, someone washing your hair, the self-care aspect or a combination of these things, but it really works.

I know I need a jump-start out of this funk I’m in. I can’t seem to get myself out of it. So I’ve decided I need to do something with my hair. I’m thinking of changing the color to a purple/teal color and cutting a bit of to clean up the ends.

The main issues are how and should I? I’m almost to the point that I definitely should and it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks. So on to the how. I don’t want to spend a mint so getting it professionally done is pretty much NOT going to happen. So it’s going to have to be a weekend project.

I’ve never tackled a project like this before. I haven’t dyed my hair period in almost 4 years. I think I have at least one willing accomplice. I’m not quite sure what I need or what steps to do though. Positive suggestions would be appreciated. Negative comments will not be acknowledged.

  • I’m grateful for that willing accomplice to help with my experimentations. I’m grateful to finally almost decide to do this change. I’m grateful that there are so many options to choose from.

    I do that too! Whenever I’m ready to pull myself out of a slump I mark the occasion with a new hairdo. It’s very symbolic and says…I’m baaaack 😄
